Pochoir derives from the French word for “stencil” and refers to a stencil-based process of printmaking. Stencil Printing is a quick and easy way to create multiple images or one of a kind monoprints, and an accessible introduction to screen-printing. You can apply additional color to existing prints, paintings, drawings, and more. Ryan Numair will guide you through the entire process to make hand-cut stencils and print them using ink. This is a very accessible, fun, and exploratory printmaking technique. All levels welcome!
