This class offers a fun and approachable introduction for anyone curious about painting from life and learning to use oil paints. We will use a still life set up as our reference as we move through the stages of the painting process week by week. Students will gain an understanding of how to compose and draw out a painting, learn color mixing techniques and methods of creating a sense of form in their picture. The class will offer lots of tips and tricks to get started as well as encourage a bold approach to inspire confidence in your natural hand.
