Handbuilding opens the door to creating almost anything you can imagine. In this class, you’ll learn foundational handbuilding skills, sculptural techniques, and a variety of surface treatments and decorative methods. You’ll create one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptures that can be either functional or decorative. Projects may include sculptural vessels, animal forms, and figure sculpture, and you’re encouraged to bring your own ideas to explore in class.
This class welcomes all skill levels, from beginners to advanced students. Whether you want to build a strong foundation or push the boundaries of your creativity, this is the perfect space to bring your ceramic visions to life.
