You don’t have to be a calligrapher to enjoy playing with letterforms, incorporating them into your work, or restyling your handwriting. In this five-week class, you will explore ways to construct, draw, print, design, and paint with letters.
Whether you are interested in book arts, collage, art journaling, assemblage, card-making, or scrapbooking, letters and text are essential elements of design.
You will learn a variety of techniques for developing your own personal lettering style using different tools, colors, and textures. The only prerequisite is that you know the alphabet.
