This class is part of our Accessible Art program and is offered tuition-free for those experiencing economic hardship. If cost has been a barrier to your participation at the Art Center, we encourage you to register. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In this class, you will explore the possibilities of hand embroidery as a form of art and creative self-expression. You will learn how embroidery can be used in fine art applications while creating an original piece of your choice.
Open to both beginners and experienced stitchers, this class will teach you basic stitches, how to create your own design and transfer it to fabric, and how to block and frame your finished work.
