Explore the dynamic properties of oil paint using the formal techniques of the masters. In other words: this is how you learn to paint! Through paintbrush and canvas, construct a realistic image using lights and darks and color. Work on a self-portrait to explore these concepts, and imagine all the possibilities with oil paint.
