This three-hour workshop is designed for potters with some wheel experience who want to expand their skills and gain confidence throwing smaller forms with speed and consistency. Throwing off the hump is a traditional technique that allows you to center once and create multiple pieces—ideal for making cups, lids, bud vases, and more.

How to center and prepare a large mound of clay
Best practices for throwing repeatable small forms
Techniques for clean cutting and trimming off the hump
Tips for refining your form
