We will be using a potter’s wheel to learn an art form that has existed since Ancient Greek times. Learn the basics of clay preparation, centering, opening and pulling walls. We will continue with trimming and end with glazing. Come and learn how to form cups, bowls, planters and more in our dedicated wheel studio space. We will also be using sculpting skills to create and alter forms in our hand building studio space, where students may also choose to free sculpt. Each method will be demonstrated by the teacher.
