In this Selfie Linocut Class students will explore linoleum blocks and portraiture to show personality through print. Using black and white photographs as a starting point Ryan Numair will guide students through the printmaking process over the course of the class. Turning photographs into high-contrast prints develops key design skills that transfers to many forms of art making. Once registered, Students will send their photograph or selfie to be used in the class. Additional portraits of artists, celebrities, and more will be available if no photograph is submitted. All levels of experience are welcome!
