Create your own ceramic pieces and decoratively glaze them. Work as a group to fire your artwork in our Raku kiln, using a Japanese firing process that involves submerging red-hot pieces in combustibles and letting the fire and smoke add to the decorative finish. It is a thrilling experience! Teaching Artist Marcia Reiver will guide students through the process and will share mandatory safety guidlines ahead of the firing.
