This class is for teens who wants to improve their drawing skills. Through demonstrations, observation-based drawing, and a variety of wet and dry media, students will explore essential concepts such as gesture, proportion, perspective, value, and composition.
Students will also study master drawings to see how great artists use these same principles in their work. Sketchbook practice and optional homework are encouraged, with the goal of developing strong skills and creating a finished piece that can be proudly kept, framed, and enjoyed for years to come.
