Experiment with gelli plate printing on rice paper, tissue paper, and tracing paper. Make dynamic photo transfers, text images, and organic, natural patterns. Use encaustic wax as a binder to layer your gelli plate images with photos, found materials, and paint, and use an iron to smooth out your work. Learn about water based materials as well as oil/ wax based materials.
