Explore the beauty of watercolor through the fascinating world of plants, insects, and fungi. Together, we’ll take our time to paint, discuss, and complete a finished piece featuring one or more botanical subjects. Throughout the class, you’ll learn how to create volume and space, enhance color, apply paint effectively, and achieve beautiful textures—all through step-by-step demonstrations and gentle guidance at your own pace.

This class is open to all levels. Watercolor will be the primary medium, supported by pencil, with the option to add colored pencil for extra detail. You’re encouraged to bring your own references—live plants, dried leaves, insects, or photographs—to inspire your work. Be sure your watercolor set includes a good range of colors; during class, we’ll discuss how to expand your palette for greater depth and variety.
