Main Line Art Center in Haverford invites artists to submit to our themed open call for our exhibition The Lunar Project. Celebrating the Asian Zodiac, the exhibition will include work that highlights the 2026 Zodiac animal, the horse! The horse is a symbol of freedom, vitality, and triumph. Artists are encouraged to explore the spirit, mythology, or symbolism of the horse in their submissions. Artwork of any medium is accepted as long as your interpretation of the horse is the focus. Full guidelines are below.
This open call is part of a larger exhibition, The Lunar Project, curated by Adam Chau and featuring 12 invited artists whose ceramic work highlights the rich and diverse celebrations and traditions around the Lunar New Year.
