This class offers young artists a fun and engaging opportunity to create their own comics each week. Through a series of exciting projects, students will learn the fundamentals of comic making while developing their drawing, storytelling, and creative thinking skills.
Each class introduces a new lesson, covering topics such as comic genres, character development, dialogue, backgrounds, page design, and visual storytelling techniques. Students will receive a unique comic template each week that incorporates the lesson and includes creative prompts and challenges to inspire their ideas. Opportunities for positive peer feedback will encourage collaboration and a deeper appreciation for each others ideas.
Whether your child loves drawing, writing stories, or reading comics, this class provides a fun and welcoming space to bring their imagination to life.
