This class is for teens who are ready to truly hone their drawing skills. Through classroom demonstrations focused on drawing from observation and working with a range of wet and dry media, you will explore key topics such as gesture, proportion, perspective, value, and composition.
You will also study master drawings to see how artists throughout history have used the same principles and techniques you are developing in your own work. You will be encouraged to keep a sketchbook and complete optional practice at home, working toward a final finished piece you can keep, frame, and treasure.
