In this class we shall study how to draw birds, their shapes and anatomy, and make a composition of one or two birds in their environment using graphite or color pencil. This is an easy media that does not require preliminary skills. We shall be exploring color pencil techniques on paper or Grafix Drafting film Matte. We can combine the paper and the drafting film as one in the composition, making an illusion of depth. Bring your favorite photos of birds, feathers, or dry branches that you want to incorporate in your drawings. You can use photos on your cell phone or iPad to use as a reference for your painting, or use your imagination and create an imaginary abstract composition. This class is for every level.
