Michèle Muñoz-Miller is a self-taught fiber artist of over 30 years, specializing in handspun yarn and felted art.  She also enjoys weaving, embroidery, macrame, knitting, and crochet. She is inspired by her Peruvian heritage and the iconography of Incan culture. Michèle has a BA in psychology from Haverford College and a PhD in human development from the University of Pennsylvania. After working for several years in her field of study, she left academia to pursue fiber art full time.  Michèle’s passion for guiding children and adults with developmental differences to find their own creative vision began at home as the proud mother of children with special needs.
