Martha Kent Martin received her MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and her BFA in Metalsmithing from Tyler School of Art. A jewelry artist since 1979, she has shown her work locally, regionally and nationally, worked with at risk children and their adults in Philadelphia and furthered her education at The Philadelphia Education Fund, LaSalle University, The Barnes Foundation and The DeMazia Trust. She garnered her first one person show at Abington Art Center recently and has studied at Villanova University and Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
