Kate Kern Mundie (b. 1974) is a mid-career artist working in American realism, focusing on both urban and rural landscapes. Her work captures the impact of climate change and human influence on the environment. She is represented by F.A.N Gallery and The Station Gallery. Kate’s work is in the collection of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and many private collections. She has received the Fred & Naomi Hazell Faculty Fellowship twice from the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial and has been awarded residencies at the Elizabeth Bishop House and Thrive Together Network. An alumna of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the University of Pennsylvania, Kate lives in Philadelphia with her family and is also part of the artist community on Deer Isle, Maine.”
