Alyssa Willgruber is a Philadelphia based artist, primarily creating drawings and paintings. Her work is a play between abstraction and representation revolving around the idea of the psychological portrait. Her work has been included in various group exhibitions, art competitions, and displayed in the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. She received her BFA in drawing and painting in May 2018 and her Masters in Visual Art and Design Education in December 2019, both from the University of the Arts.
