Main Line Art Center is proud to present the mixed media prints of Professional Artist Member Terri Fridkin in the Welcome Gallery. Seismic Shift will be on view October 13, 2018 – November 25, 2018.
Terri Fridkin is best known for her dynamic, abstract and mixed media prints that embody intense color and graphic forms. An honors graduate of the design school at Drexel University, Fridkin lives and works in the Philadelphia area. After teaching art for several years in Philadelphia, she left to pursue printmaking at studios and schools in New York and Pennsylvania. She is a monitor in the etching studio at Fleisher Art Memorial since 2014.
“My work is a combination of various printmaking techniques, such as intaglio, relief, monotype and chine collé. This visceral and mental journey is guided by inks, matrices, and papers, including artist made paper. My prints are further enhanced by incorporating paint, collage, pencil or pastel. Discovery, experimentation and invention are the driving forces that inspire me to create.” – Terri Fridkin
