Welcome Gallery
The idea for a collage club sprouted from a mixed media class taught by Linnie Greenberg at Main Line Art Center in the spring of 2024. The eight week course was called “Collage Unleashed: Finding Your Artistic Voice.” The experience was so good that the group of talented, fun-loving women wanted to continue creating together.
This Fall, the CUT-UP Club gathered monthly in an open studio here at the Art Center, monitored by Linnie, bringing an enthusiasm for sharing resources, supplies and a passion for collage in all its forms.
This Welcome Gallery exhibition marks their debut and they are honored that Main Line Art Center has chosen to spotlight collage – a dynamic yet often under appreciated genre within the art world.
