“From a young age, I was taught to appreciate the beauty of a derelict building and the history that came along with it. So many stories and lives passing through a single place. My nourishment comes from stories and places that create a narrative in my mind. Whether it be hiking or walking through an abandoned building, I am inspired. I use them in my mixed media pieces as a permanent impression of a fleeting moment. Enjoy!” – Sharon
