While the artworks may be small, the ideas are big! Travel through time and space as you learn about miniature artworks from a variety of time periods and cultures. This one-hour lecture will investigate themes of use, cultural importance, and significance to the field of art history. No prior art historical knowledge required – sit back, relax, and learn alongside your peers.

Amanda is an arts administrator and educator with over a decade of experience working with families, school groups, and adults at various museums and arts centers, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Wave Hill, and the Please Touch Museum. Amanda received a Bachelor’s in English and Art History from Binghamton University, as well as a Master’s in Art History and Museum Education from the City College of New York.
