Explore layering mixed media botanical art in this two part class. In the first session, use gelli plates and printmaking techniques to create various types of papers with floral shapes and patterns. In the second session, use your handmade prints to create a collage on a wood panel/substrate and then paint over this with organic beeswax. Also, learn to embed flowers in wax or embed photos from magazines of flowers–create beautiful one of a kind floral works of art.
