This is a “first step” watercolor class. If you have always wanted to try it but were too intimidated to join other classes, this is for you! Learn the secret of watercolors brilliance and the appeal of its translucent nature. Set-up your own still life with your favorite objects, flowers, bowls, dolls, or even photos and learn how to change a simple drawing into a beautiful watercolor painting. The class will begin with a demonstration followed by individual attention.   Supplies:

• Recommended watercolor brands are Albrecht Durer, Staedtler Karat, Derwent Inktense Caran d-ache. There are a variety of sets ranging in both size and price. You may want to begin with only five and want to get more.
• Good watercolor paper, heavy enough that it wont buckle when very wet
• A regular pencil and eraser
• a small water color brush
• a small container for water
• paper towels.
