Welcome to the world of sustainable textiles! Learn how to dye materials, manipulate fabric with surface design techniques, repair and mend textiles. We will take a closer look at the impact of fast fashion on our environment and the people that make our clothing. This is a hands on experimental class, opening with short demos and techniques to try before open experimenting begins. You are encouraged to bring in clothing in need of fixes or customization that we will work on throughout the course.
