Love photography and want to make better images? This is the class for you. Learn the technical and visual skills needed to create successful and compelling images. First look at the difference between the way our eyes see and how the camera sees, and how to take advantage of these differences. Then, through assignments and discussions, learn depth-of-filed, composition, and the fundamentals of seeing photographically — photographing the visually exciting subject, enhancing and creating a subjects visual excitement, and pre-visualizing the subjects visual excitement in ways that we cannot see. All formats welcome, including film and digital cameras. However, students must have a working knowledge of their equipment.
