Even if you have used Photoshop before, the changes made over the past two years may make it feel almost unrecognizable. You will explore powerful new selection and removal tools, along with improved masking features in both Camera Raw and Photoshop, and see just how much this program can do.

If you are new to Photoshop, don’t worry. You will start with the basics, including how to download, import, and organize your photos. From there, you will move on to working with RAW files, navigating menus and toolbars, understanding basic file formats, adjusting image size and resolution, and using adjustment layers.

As you build confidence, you will learn selection tools, image retouching, filters, sharpening techniques, and how to develop a reliable workflow. You will then explore more advanced features, such as non-destructive burning and dodging, adding grain to digital files, creative black-and-white conversion techniques, toning digital images, and color correction.
