Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead, Nov 1 or 2), is one of Latin America’s most unique traditional celebrations in which people remember and honor the memory of ancestors, family members and friends by decorating altars with “banderitas de papel picado” (little paper banners or flags). In this hands-on workshop, learn the techniques for folding and cutting tissue paper and will make these special flags. Common themes include birds, floral designs, and skeletons.
