Come create a wonderful collage masterpiece with the mixed-media technique. Learn how to create compositions with multiple design layers, each made from a different material (such as cut paper, acrylic paint, oil pastels, and more). Explore the principles and elements of drawing to develop your compositions in a fun and confident way.        

Class Objectives:

• Cut and compose your pieces utilizing the principles and the elements of drawing and painting for a harmonic and balanced piece of art
• Create intriguing painted patterns and decorations to incorporate into your work
• Blend different elements and create a reading path for your entire composition

Student Supply List:

• Tacky Glue Clear Gel 4 oz
• Old magazines for cutting out images
• Scissors
• 2 white poster boards 22″x28″
• Any type of colored pencils or sharpies
• Exacto knife
