Celebrate small this fall! Commemorating our first small works exhibition, the Little Luxuries workshop series finds the joy in creating miniature masterpieces. From the spontaneous to the carefully considered, join us to create a small work in a new style. The Little Luxuries exhibition will be on view from September 9-October 20th, 2024. We hope you will visit and take home your own Little Luxury!
Suminagashi, as known as “Japanese marbling,” is an ancient Japanese transfer technique in which dye flows into water, and the freely spreading shape is transferred onto paper. Ursula will guide you in creating artwork while understanding the flow of ink on water.
