Work from creative prompts that enable you to reflect and disentangle yourself from harmful narratives about your body and appearance. Learn to appreciate yourself and to create new stories about your body through meditations, journaling, and activities that stray from traditional self-portraiture. Prioritize process over outcome, build community with other artmakers, and create your own self portrait.
