Come discover how a simple slab of clay can become a beautiful, functional work of art. In this hands-on class, you will explore fundamental techniques in construction, texturing, decorating, and glazing.
Each week, Marcia will guide you through live demonstrations and expert tips.

If you are feeling adventurous, you will also have the chance to complete your creations using the exciting raku firing process.

Student Supply List: 

• Clay must be purchased at Main Line Art Center ($30 for one bag of clay)         
• Basic set of clay tools (also available at Art Center for $17.50)    
• Clay knife      
• Apron or towel          
• Variety of ribs            
• Pony roller           
• Textures to press into clay      
• Additional & optional $25 supply fee payable to instructor for paint-on glazes
