Pick a few of your photographs then edit and print them. Mount the photographs to a board and paint them with encaustic wax. Learn the safety and practical uses of the wax, experience layering the wax in colors, and add color with pigment sticks. Explore the basic techniques of encaustic, incising, embedding, layering, and fusing. Work with encaustic gesso, tinting gesso, your drawing and painting skills, and encaustic photography.
