Get your hands in the clay and start creating! Learn techniques like pinching, coiling, stamping, and slab work as you make functional and sculptural pieces that show off your unique style. With expert instruction and room to experiment, you’ll explore shaping, texturing, and glazing to bring your ideas to life. Leave class with one-of-a-kind creations that celebrate your creativity.

Student Supply List: 

• Clay must be purchased at Main Line Art Center ($30 for a bag of clay, payable at first class)        
• Basic set of clay tools (also available at Art Center for $17.50)           
• Set of 4-5 different sizes paintbrushes for underglaze painting          
• Apron or towel    
• Old T-shirt or kitchen towel to cover clay                  
• Small yogurt container with lid to store clay slip
