Experience the MAGIC of fire. Watch weekly demos to help bring your ideas to life in this handbuilding class. Create, glaze, and then fire pieces in our Raku kiln. Raku firing is an ancient Japanese technique that creates unique finishes every time. Learn to take a piece from the kiln while it is still glowing red hot and then place it in a material that catches fire, reducing the oxygen and producing beautiful finishes. Please note that if you are a wheel thrower, you can bring wheel thrown pieces to alter. You will not be able to throw during this class, only alter previously thrown pieces.
