Focus on the techniques and speed of charcoal. Use vine, compressed, and charcoal pencil to understand light, depth, and form. Sharpen your perceptual skills through observational drawing, and explore the expressive potential of drawing with speed investigations. Practice object study, still life, master studies, and the gestural figure. Participate in class discussion and receive one-on-one feedback from your instructor.
