Learn basic mixed media techniques and magical collage processes – plus tips and tricks to make artistic, provocative, post-modern collage. Demos and lots of (fun!) hands-on time to create.

Student Supply List:

140# – 9 x 12 or above. See notes below.
Acrylics (craft /house paint fine), sharpies, pastels, etc
Rags or paper towels
Glue sticks
Small jar of matte medium or gloss medium
Small jar of gesso
Roll Scotch magic tape
Roll of masking tape
Ruler, pencil, black sharpie
Black sharpie or black fine-liner graphic pen
Optional: Scissors (the center has plenty to share)
$12 supply fee payable to instructor
Supply Notes Paper suggestions: The cream of the crop paper used as a substrate for collage and other artistic processes comes in 300# sheets. More expensive, sturdier and more beautiful. I reserve this paper for “special” artwork, but you are free to bring and use. Strathmore, Canson and Blick brand 140# mixed media or watercolor pads are good, solid choices.
