Break away from conventional methods and uncover your unique artistic voice. Using novel techniques and unconventional approaches to creating collage, we’ll explore ideas that go beyond that which is considered traditional. Fire up your imagination with weekly demos, activities, projects, and prompts. Practice, play, and explore within a creative environment that allows for personal expression and innovation. View and discuss numerous PowerPoint presentations on postmodern collage. No experience required.

Student Supply List:

• $25 supply fee payable to instructor
• Any brand acylic paint and watercolors, OPTIONAL: MLAC has paint to share  
• Scissors plus Exacto or craft knife
• Paint scraper like an old credit card, silicone spatula, piece of cardboard, etc. (get creative!)
• Cutting mat – MLAC has a few and I will bring two to share  
• Adhesive: Glue sticks and a jar of matte and/or gloss medium (gel or liquid) (wood glue or Elmers glue are acceptable)  
• Water container and paper towels   
• A couple paint brushes (can be old) – MLAC has brushes to share
