This class has already started. Please call to register.
Toddlers (with their grownup) will engage with various materials to create art through sensory experiences. Each session will focus on a different material and its qualities, such as texture, color, application, and layering. Week one will be paint, week two clay, week three collage, week four watercolor, week five paper mache and week six a combination of materials. We will use pinecones, leaves, hands, fingers, and other unconventional methods to make marks. We’ll look at the book “Mix It Up” by Herve Tullet, learn the “clean up” song, and listen to a quick story or song related to each week’s theme. The goal for the class is for students to have a lifelong love of art!
