Toddlers (with their grown up) will engage with various materials to create and experience art through sensory experiences with media and images. Chelsea will provide a safe, educational environment. Each session will focus on a different material and its qualities, such as texture, color, application, and layering. Week one will be paint, week two clay, week three collage, week four watercolor, week five paper mache and week six a combination of materials.

We will use toy trucks and animals to make tracks, and use pinecones, leaves, hands, fingers and other unconventional methods to make marks. We’ll look at the book “Mix It Up” by Herve Tullet, learn the “clean up” song, and listen to a quick story or song related to each week’s theme.

The goal is for students to have a lifelong love of art!
