Gillian Pokalo
Main Line Art Center is proud to present the work of Teaching Artist and printmaker/photographer Gillian Pokalo in our Welcome Gallery September 8 through October 26. Pokalo creates monoprints using a combination of painting, photography, and printmaking techniques and is inspired by the urban/industrial landscapes of the Philadelphia region. She graduated from Moore College of Art & Design with a degree in 2-Dimensional Fine Arts, and has since shown work in a variety of venues in and around Philadelphia, including Flotsam & Jetsam Gallery in Philadelphia, Gallery Eros in Bryn Mawr, and the Gryphon Cafe in Wayne. She has participated in a number of group shows, including the Keisho Art Association Exhibition-Aichi Prefecture, Japan; InLiquid’s Art for the Cah Poor and Summer Solstice.
