Main Line Art Center is pleased to present the work of Professional Artist Member Terri Fridkin in the Welcome Gallery November 2 through December 3, 2015.
Fridkin is a National Honor Society graduate of Drexel University Nesbitt College of Design Arts and lives and works in the Philadelphia area. She worked in the art field for several years, then took a career turn and found herself in the fitness industry for 25 years. At the same time, Fridkin attended countless classes in different media, ultimately finding her expression in printmaking. After teaching art in a private school for three years, she left teaching to pursue printmaking at various studios and art centers in New York and Pennsylvania.
Since exhibiting her work in 2012, Fridkin presented a solo show at Muse Gallery and participated in numerous invitational and juried shows. Selected exhibitions include Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA; The State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA; City Hall, Philadelphia, PA; Widener University, Chester, PA; and various art centers and diverse venues in the tristate area. She is a member of Muse Gallery and a juried member of The American Color Print Society and The Cheltenham Guild of Printmakers.
