Discover the art of linoleum block printing in this hands-on introductory class. Youll learn how to design, carve, and print your own linocut block while exploring the fundamentals of relief printmaking.
Through step-by-step instruction, youll gain experience using carving tools, transferring images, inking your block, and creating successful prints. By the end of the class, youll leave with a carved linoleum block and a collection of original prints that you created yourself.
No prior printmaking experience is necessary. This class is a great introduction to a versatile and rewarding artistic process.
