This class will focus on elevating hand built forms with a variety of surface decoration and texture methods. We will explore ways to create texture with hand-carved bisque stamps, fresh floral impressions, found objects and fabric.

You will also learn to add volume and shape to your forms while combining decorative techniques.

Previous hand building experience is necessary. 

 

Student Supply List: 

• Clay must be purchased at Main Line Art Center ($30 for a bag of clay, payable at first class)
• Basic set of clay tools (also available at Art Center for $17.50)
