Inspired by the layered visual language of illustrator Barry Ivker, this highly unusual workshop introduces you to the process of creating stunning art using a variety of translucent and opaque materials.
You will build luminous compositions in which overlapping layers create depth, rhythm, shifting color relationships, and optical surprise. Part collage, part design, and part experimentation, this workshop offers a contemporary process rarely taught in traditional mixed media settings.
You do not need drawing skills or prior art instruction – only curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
