Access your Inner Child and enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon suitable for all levels. We will start with a brief intro paint-along of various creative techniques followed by painting in an unstructured free spirit style of your choice.
Paint as note cards or paintings while playing with patterns, abstract visions, favorite colors, or be inspired by seasonal themed images provided, or bring your own for reference. Instructor guidance provided throughout

BEGINNERS / CASUAL Painters:
The brushes in these basic sets are rather useless, please do not use them even as a first time watercolorist.
BRUSHES: Winsor-Newton COTMAN Size 0, 3 and 6 Pointed Rounds would be a good starter set. (A size 1 and 5 if you prefer to only purchase two brushes).
Add a larger brush such as a size 10 if that suits your painting style. Despite not being Artists Grade, COTMAN is a good quality brush at a reasonable price). Best price on dickblick.com.
EXPERIENCED Watercolorists and ENTHUSIASTS:
BRUSHES: Minimum TWO Pointed Rounds – three preferred, four if adding large size. One for details, one medium size multi purpose, both from the size range 0 to 6. Add a larger brush if suiting your painting style.

Winsor-Newton Artist’s Sables are very good but may be more expensive than Rosemary & Co. of equal or better quality.
Winsor-Newton COTMAN brushes, while student grade, are a rare non-Artists’ Grade recommendation, but these are nice brushes at an affordable price that won’t compromise your painting experience. Buying thru blick.com recommended.
