The Art of Letting Go: Intro to Acrylic Abstraction

Come join ChanMi in a fun, introductory acrylic abstract class this spring. Abstraction gives you the opportunity to let go of control and experience freedom and joy as you interact with your painting in progress.
By working with heavy-body acrylics, spatter blades, and imitation or genuine gold leaf, you will learn how to build layered surfaces, find beauty in the messy process, and discover how harmonious abstract art can emerge through a playful, conversational relationship between you and your work.
No prior experience is necessary. Come ready to let go, follow the creative process, and enjoy the freedom of making art.
